VARSITY SPORTS MEDIA’S GEORGIA FOOTBALL MAGAZINE
HITS SHELVES AUGUST 4-7th



SUGAR HILL, GA – March 28, 2007 – Varsity Sports Media announced an August 4th-7th launch period for Varsity Sports Media’s Georgia Football magazine.  Varsity Sports Media’s Georgia Football will be available at traditional news outlets, various retailers, and high school campuses statewide.  The magazine, which will be produced annually, will include coverage of the 420 varsity high school football teams, their schedules, player statistics, recruiting information, color photography, feature stories by professional sports reporters and 2006 schedules for every program.  As a bonus, the magazine will also cover the state’s 12 collegiate programs and the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

Varsity Sports Media has teamed with parent company Action Sports Media, a leader in the collegiate sports marketing industry, and with A.E. Engine, LLC, an organization that helps create and execute publishing and marketing programs, to promote Varsity Sports Media’s Georgia Football as the premier sourcebook for Georgia football.

The 224-plus page magazine will be the first of its kind in Georgia, featuring a glossy finish, professional design and production, and entertaining editorial features and photography.  Varsity Sports Media’s Georgia Football will have a considerable shelf-life, giving advertisers a durable vehicle that will reach readers throughout the high school football season.

In conjunction with the magazine’s release, Varsity Sports Media will launch www.GeorgiaFB.com in May.  GeorgiaFB.com will be an interactive website to keep fans abreast of the season’s actions, a statewide road tour and a scholarship program to award student-athletes for academic achievements.  The website will be updated daily and will include the latest news, team and player profiles, fan forums, polls, contests and photography from games across the state.
